「物聯網(Internet of Things)」,是在描述生活中所有的用品都能彼此傳遞訊息的概念,甚至能夠進一步對彼此的變化作出調整,其中物件並不限於常見的網路3C產品,更包括了服飾、紙張、沙發這類原本不具有電路、網路功能的物品。最近,瑞典與英國的合作研究團隊發展了一款電子標籤[1],可以將二極體「列印」到物件上,當手機靠近並撥號時,電子標籤可以吸收手機發出的電磁波訊號,轉換成電流,驅動標籤上的其他元件運作(像是可以驅動顯示器顯示畫面)。
這項技術ㄧ開始,其實是為了發展成紙鈔的防偽標籤(世界最大的紙鈔及護照生產公司De La Rue也是本計劃的參與者之一),當我們需要判定紙鈔真偽時,只需把智慧型手機靠近,電子標籤就會吸收手機的電磁波,並回傳辨識訊息(包含這張鈔票的來源之類的訊息), 這樣的設計比起傳統的防偽技術更加嚴謹,也相對增加了偽造難度。
