At an Eyeglasses Store
眼鏡行的實用英語
Part A: Buying Glasses
Anita walks into an eyeglasses store, and the clerk greets her.
安妮塔走進一間眼鏡行，店員前來招呼。
(Clerk = C ; Anita = A)
C: Welcome to our store. How can I help you?
A: I need a new pair of reading glasses.
C: Sure. What kind of style would you like?
A: I use them for work. They must be comfortable enough to wear all day.
C: How about this pair? It’s very popular with office workers.
(Anita tries the glasses on and looks in the mirror. The glasses seem uncomfortable. She takes them off and hands them back.)
A: These feel too tight on my nose. What else do you have?
C: See if these will work. This style is a little wider.
A: (Anita tries them on.) Oh, these feel great!
Part A：買眼鏡
店員： 歡迎光臨，請問需要什麼服務嗎？
安妮塔：我要一副新的閱讀用眼鏡。
店員： 好的，您想要什麼款式？
安妮塔：我是工作要戴的，所以一定要夠舒適才能戴一整天。
店員： 這副如何？這副很受上班族的歡迎。
（安妮塔試戴眼鏡並照鏡子，眼鏡戴起來似乎不太舒服。她把眼鏡拿下來還給店員。）
安妮塔：這戴在我鼻子上感覺太緊了。有其他的嗎？
店員： 看看這副眼鏡可不可以。這個款式比較寬一點。
安妮塔：（安妮塔試戴這副眼鏡。）喔，這副戴起來很舒服！
