註 1 :該研究設定了一個 VIP 分數(完整名稱是variable importance in projection,或可翻為投射變數重要性)用以表示每個參數對部分最小平方(partial least squares, PLS)迴歸統計分析所估計的應變數貢獻程度。即利用迴歸分析探討各個皮膚光學參數對肌膚情況所帶進的主觀感受影響。翻成白話文來舉例,皺紋與毛孔各為一個參數,皺紋增長 1 釐米與毛孔比例增加 1%,哪個會讓旁觀者感覺年紀增長較多,那個參數的 VIP 分數就較高。依據演算的結果:色斑、皺紋,以及肌膚質地對主觀年齡判斷的影響遠高於其他參數。
